Technical diversity

Our manufacturing processes

LPC method

Thin-walled components with precise resin distribution and high dimensional accuracy for complex geometries.

Infusion techniques

Large-scale structures with controlled resin application and reproducible laminate quality.

RTM technology

Closed moulds ensure consistent wall thicknesses and consistent quality in series production.

Autoclave technology

High-quality prepreg components produced using precise pressure and temperature control to ensure the highest performance.

Prototype

From the first prototype to full-scale production

Prototype production and series production work seamlessly together at our company. With our in-house tool and jig-making facilities, we can produce flexible batch sizes – precisely, reliably and reproducibly.

Series sizes:

  • Small batch: < 100 units
  • Medium-volume production: 101–500 units
  • Large-scale production: 501–5,000 units

Quality assurance

Quality at every stage of production

Interim and final inspections ensure that components are reproducible, as documented by qualified quality assurance staff in accordance with certified standards.

Packaging & Dispatch

Carefully packed, delivered on time

We tailor our packaging and dispatch to each individual order, provide optimum protection for sensitive components and deliver products that are ready for immediate use.

All done in-house

In-house production right through to the
finished component

Mechanical reworking

Precise CNC finishing
and clean contours for accurate fits and components ready for assembly.

Bonding of fittings

Structural bonding processes for creating strong bonds between attachments, inserts and functional components.

Assembly

Inserts, bushings and ancillary parts are positioned with precision and assembled in a repeatable manner.

Surface finish

Painted, coated, textured or antistatic – surfaces tailored to their function and application.

Frequently asked questions about manufacturing.

The key answers at a glance.
And if you have any further questions, we’re here to help in person.

Yes. We can support you even if you do not yet have a final drawing or technical specification. Our engineers guide the development process from the initial idea, through material selection and component design, right through to a production-ready solution.

If required, we test materials and component requirements in our own test laboratory and also assist with the preparation of technical specifications. In this way, a robust foundation for subsequent production is established step by step.

what we can do

Our core competencies

Two worlds. One material. Fibre composites.

Fibre-reinforced thermal protection systems

Composite Impulse develops project-specific fibre-reinforced composite thermal protection systems for operating temperatures of up to 1,000 °C. This results in rapidly available prototypes and production-ready solutions — built on over 30 years’ experience in the top tiers of motorsport and applied to the aerospace and industrial sectors.

Fibre-reinforced composite structures

Composite Impulse develops, validates and manufactures fibre-reinforced composite components, sub-assemblies and complete systems in-house. This enables prototypes to be produced within a few weeks and series production solutions to be delivered with reduced investment risk — underpinned by certified processes in accordance with EN 9100, ISO 9001 and EASA Part 21G.

More than just products. Real solutions.
